Week 3 Update

So this is technically my 3rd week back to stretching regularly but it's only my 2nd update because I never got around to posting one last week... oops.

In my bridge, I've definitely gotten my hands closer to my ankles 

and it makes a better curve than before. 

It's the same with my elbow bridge, too.

I haven't been able to get into a split since about two weeks ago, which is really frustrating. I overstretched and ended up injuring myself a bit. It healed up after a week but set me back so now I'm working on getting my left split (again) and the other two ways, as well. Who knows? Maybe I'll be able to do a split all three ways by the end of this month. 

Right now, I'm really focussing on improving my spinal flexibility and strength before I really get into the hand-balancing part of it all.

Hopefully, I will be able to update next week. I'm moving on the 20th though and then I'll be in a hotel until the 22nd. So I'm not sure how that'll work. Maybe updated every 2 weeks will just have to be my set schedule.

I wish I could say that it's because I've been really busy, but I haven't at all.

I promise that I've been stretching a lot & that my back has made such progress.

On Monday, I'll post pictures to prove it. haha

But I'm getting much closer to the big move. 

I can't believe I start college in a little over a week. 

It's scary but I'm glad that I can finally get a change of scenery.

I said goodbye to a good friend from school today.

We went to the movies to see Ted and then to the mall and I did a bit of shopping.

I got these bracelets.

 ... & these kicks. 

I also got an Adventure Time pin with Finn's face on it & some chapstick but they're not really worth posting a picture of.

My new boots came in the mail this morning though so I was really happy!

They're a little too big for me but I don't mind it all that much.

(I didn't notice that she was drinking my coffee until after the picture. Angel's such a bad little girl but I love her so much.)I love it when I can actually take sweet pictures with her. She hardly stays still so it's almost impossible. 

I'm going to miss her when I move but we'll only be apart for a year.
