Week 1 update.

This was my first week with a set stretching schedule and I did 30 minutes each day, minus the one day that I was sick. I'm sorry that the photo quality is so low. I haven't taken the time to try to fix my Nikon or the money to replace it. Hopefully I can get a better way to take my photos instead of using the webcam on my macbook.

Oh and that furry thing in the last two photos is my dog. He likes to hand around when I stretch.

As you can see, I'm still trying to get my back accustomed to bending again. Just a week ago it was still hard for me to stay in a bridge for long so I'm just happy that it's easier now and I can focus on increasing my spinal flexibility.

I was also able to do a left split last night but there was so much to do today and I didn't get a chance to get a photo. Hopefully, I'll get one up tomorrow though. I want to be able to do a split in all three ways by the end of August.  Another thing that I'm currently working on is the "sleeping yogi" pose.
For the next week, I'll be stretching 45 minutes a day.

Ciao~

Stretching Schedules

In regards to my stretching, I plan on posting progress photos every monday starting on July 30th. Hopefully I can keep up with the updates even after my classes start.

For now, I'll be doing three 10-minute sessions a day until July 30. Then, I'll be doing three 15-minute sessions for another week and after that, three 20-minutes sessions a day so that by August 6th, I'll be stretching for at least an hour each day.

I would post pictures of my current flexibility, but there wouldn't be much to show in my opinion. Although I am extremely close to my left split. My goal is to be able to do it by the end of this month.

It's so sad to see how much flexibility I lost after not stretching for nearly a year but I'm also extremely motivated to get it all back. I'll try to find some old photos I took from last year though so I could have at least something to post.

23.7.12

I was packing but then I got distracted by the fake human heart that I made for a biology project in high school. I'm currently having second thoughts concerning wether or not I should bring it to college to freak out my roommate.
All I want to do is make a good first impression.

Introduction

Just like all the other little kiddies, my summer vacation is slowly coming to an end. In late August, I'll be moving to Daytona Beach, Florida to study flight at ERAU; so I figure if I was ever going to start a blog about my uneventful life and odd hobbies, now would be the time. Most of this blog will focus on my progress as an in-training contortionist and all photos and graphics that I post on this blog belong to me unless otherwise stated.

  • I like gory movies and horror games.
  • You can follow my other blog on tumblr and IM me at tinychat.
  • My spirit animal is the bitch of the forest, that's right, the deer.
  • I can't sleep unless I'm supposed to be doing something else.
  • I don't like the way my voice sounds but I don't think anyone does.
  • I have a rabbit named Angel and a shitzu-pomeranian named Roxas.
  • I am what happens when a child is raised by Disney movies and never learns how to play nice with the other children.
  • I'm a better person than I usually advertise myself to be.
